Yasin Oral, the CEO of Paribu answered the questions of Ahmet Usta, the Executive Editor, in the live broadcast of Blockchain Turkey.
In the live broadcast, the results of “Cryptocurrency Recognition and Perception Survey”, which is the most comprehensive cryptocurrency survey in Turkey and which was conducted by Akademetre on behalf of Paribu, were discussed.
Oral said that they believed that the results of previous cryptocurrency surveys were doubtful and they wanted to ensure that a survey would be conducted with the correct sample group in order to achieve actual results. Oral added, “Within the scope of the survey, 6253 individuals were interviewed until we reached 1000 individuals who had actually heard of cryptocurrency. This was a long and meticulous process”.
Emphasizing that the rate of people who carry out transactions with cryptocurrencies in Turkey is 0.7%, Oral said: “Turkey has a great potential. Potential means demand”.
