Broadcasted on Bloomberg HT, sponsored by Paribu and hosted by Gizem Uzuner Gençtürk and Güzem Yılmaz Ertem, the second episode of “The World of Cryptocurrency Explained in 10 Questions” (10 Soruda Kripto Para Dünyası) took place.
The theme of this week was the number of cryptocurrencies, well-known cryptocurrencies and their definitions. Mentioning that there were more than 8600 cryptocurrencies, the definition of the stable coin, as well as cryptocurrenciesincluding Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP were covered in the program.
While talking about cryptocurrency types, “One of the reasons that there are more than 8600 cryptocurrencies is that they all have different features,” said Gizem Uzuner Gençtürk and added that each of them has a different aim.
Referring to Tether, Güzem Yılmaz Ertem said: “A lot of investors think that they can use stable coins for shopping by taking inspiration from the markets where there is no volatility.”
