Paribu, Turkey’s highest-volume cryptocurrency transaction platform, breaks new ground leading the effort for cryptocurrency donations to UNICEF Turkey, raising funds for more than 950 children.
Donations in Bitcoin and Ethereum through Paribu, which offers fast, easy and secure crypto-money transaction services to its users, fund the efforts for providing girls and boys access to quality education and changing negative perceptions around inequality of genders.
Commenting on the issue, Yasin Oral, the CEO of Paribu, said, “We are delighted to partner with UNICEF, the world’s largest organization working to address the needs and rights of children in difficult circumstances. The cryptocurrency donations made so far have gone a long way towards supporting disadvantaged children. It is one of our primary concerns as a business to take initiatives on children’s education. One cannot afford to be indifferent when it comes to education. We will continue to roll out new projects spearheading the effort for providing quality education to children.”
Supporting disadvantaged children by raising cryptocurrencies, Paribu bases its vision on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. With Paribu leading the path and presiding over “Quality Education”, “End Poverty” and “Clean Water and Sanitation” projects, Turkey becomes the fifth country to make crypto donations to UNICEF.
