Attorney Elçin Karatay participated as a guest in the live broadcast presented by Ebru Güven and Başak Burcu Yiğit within the scope of Use-Case series.
Karatay has said that the first regulations on the cryptocurrency market that have been expected in Turkey could be imposed in reference to anti-money laundering (AML) and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT).
Karatay also added that regulations on listing or licensing of cryptocurrency trading platforms were expected soon.
Karatay stated that digital assets must legally be defined to eliminate the questions about taxation.
